Velvet Hairpiece Design is the sole proprietorship of Cara Smith.

 

Cara attended the beautiful Indiana University and obtained a BA degree in Graphic Design. Today she resides outside of St. Louis, Missouri with her signficant other, four *gasp* lovely cats , a giant dog, and a small flock of hilarious chickens who make her breakfast and bring many a-smile to her face.

 

Since childhood, Cara has been a creative individual and enjoyed working in whatever materials  were available at the time. Today is no different. She has her hands in many projects and enjoys working with various mediums from paper, to fabric, to metals.

What the heck is a Velvet Hairpiece? Who knows, but she had a dream about it and couldn't get it out of her mind!

 

VH Design strives to be as sustainable as possible, from choosing recycled and FSC and/or SFI certified paper stocks to recycling and reusing materials whenever feasible. A strong preference will be placed on businesses and individuals with sustainable practices and ideals. Remember, everyone can make small changes in their life to make this world a better, healthier, happier place for generations to come. Even a small step today can have a positive impact tomorrow.
